Fluid is a new (and free) tool for Leopard — and Snow Leopard — that lets you very easily build an app that is simply a site specific browser. Check out fluidapp.com and try it. The Preferences panel is important to use. As is the View menu. I enabled browsing outside the base URL and I also turned on the toolbar. You can assign an ICNS file and drop these site specific apps on your dock. I made one for my most used websites. I still use Firefox for browsing but occasionally when I want to focus on a site, I’ll fire up a Fluid App to do it now. Pretty cool!
